Cardinal Canyon is a pleasant path on white dirt roads and old farmers tracks. This time we will discover the Syracusan countryside. The area has always been densely covered with evergreen oak forests, and still shows all of its beauty today. The landscape, featured by large wild and mysterious quarries, dry-stone walls, underground springs, and open fields enriched with centuries-old olive trees here and there and wheat fields will be a pleasure for the eyes and for the mind. We are in the countryside of Canicattini Bagni, once the land belonging to the Marquis Daniele.
